“When all that complexity comes together in a perfectly functioning whole, it is a moment of real pride. It proves what we can achieve as a team.”

Is there a particular aspect of your work you are especially proud of?
“The technology behind the final result is what fascinates me most. From the very start in Galati to the finishing stages here in Vlissingen, we work together to turn an idea into reality. When all that complexity comes together in a perfectly functioning whole, it is a moment of real pride. It proves what we can achieve as a team.”

What makes working on the Amels 80 different from other projects?
“The engineering is more refined and specific than on previous yachts I have worked on. Every detail has been considered and every part has meaning. It allows us to dive deeper into the design and truly understand it to perfection.”
What does it mean to you to quite literally leave your signature on the Amels 80?
“It feels very special. Knowing that something I have made or adjusted with my own hands will have an impact on how the yacht is experienced and used gives me a great sense of pride. A part of my work will quite literally travel the world.”
What do you hope people will notice when they step on board?
“The craftsmanship of everyone involved. From the cleaners to the mechanics, from the painters to the interior finishers, every detail carries someone’s signature. Everything you see, touch and experience on board is the result of true dedication.”

“When all that complexity comes together in a perfectly functioning whole, it is a moment of real pride. It proves what we can achieve as a team.”
